Rulani Mokwena’s Wydad Athletic Club failed to make it back-to-back wins after drawing 2-2 with Ittihad Tanger on Saturday.
Wydad came into the game from their last-minute win over FUS Rabat, where Cassius Mailula had scored his first goal for the club.
However, they dropped points on Saturday despite scoring the opener in the 31st minute via Ismail Moutaraji.
The visitors netted the equaliser in the third minute of injury-time via Faouzi Abdoul Mutalib before even going ahead in the 53rd minute via a penalty from Mohamed Saoud.
Mokwena’s men, though, fought back and equalised in the 84th minute via Sisi Amar Bouna to pick up a draw.
The point saw Wydad move into fifth place, five points behind log leaders RS Berkane, who have one game in hand.
Wydad have now won four Botola Pro matches, drawn three and lost three.
