Betway Premiership early pace-setters Orlando Pirates made it six wins out of six and set a club record for the second time in their history after a 2-0 success over 10-men TS Galaxy at Mbombela Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Former Pirates man Mpho Mvelase then tried his luck from range in the eighth minute but it went wide.
In the 11th minute, Evidence Makgopa mistimed his shot from close range from Relebohile Mofokeng’s pass.
The Buccaneers then broke the deadlock in the 16th minute through Thalente Mbatha’s thunderous shot from outside the box.
Mohau Nkota then skied his shot into the stands after being played in by Makgopa in the 22nd minute.
Mbatha went for the half volley in the 37th minute but Tape Ira parried the ball out for a corner as the first period ended 1-0 in favour of the visitors.
An absolutely glorious strike from Mofokeng put Pirates 2-0 up in the 72nd minute.
In the end, Jose Riveiro’s charges maintained their 100% unbeaten record in the league this term and opened up the gap at the top to six points on second-placed Mamelodi Sundowns.
