Pep Guardiola says he is happy at Manchester City, as questions remain whether he will pen a new deal at the Citizens.
On Wednesday, City set a new record for going the most games unbeaten in the UEFA Champions, going one better than Manchester United’s 25 games after their 5-0 win over Sparta Praha.
The Spaniard is now into his ninth season with City, having lifted 18 trophies so far, but his contract is running out by the end of the campaign.
There’s been question marks over whether he will pen a new deal or potentially look for a new adventure – and the decision could be impacted on City’s court case against the Premier League over their 115 charges.

However, those close to him expect Guardiola to make a decision over the (European) winter, and the 53-year-old now insisted he’s still happy at the club.
“I’m happy here. When I started as a manager I would anticipate. Now I don’t, I just want to win tomorrow. I live more day-by-day,” he told Sky Sports.
At the end of last season, Guardiola stated he is closer to leaving than staying, but he clarified this comments recently.
“I have been eight years at Man City and I will not be here for eight more years, that is why [I said] I am closer to leave than stay,” he said earlier this month.
“But I didn’t say I am leaving. Never ever. I would say. When I am leaving I will say I am leaving. But I didn’t say.”
