Magesi FC head coach Clinton Larsen says his charges are beginning to dream after reaching the semifinals of the Carling Knockout Cup in their topflight debut as no one gave them a chance.
The Limpopo side eliminated cup kings Orlando Pirates and TS Galaxy on their way to the last four in their first ever topflight season.

They travel to Richards Bay this afternoon looking to make a historic cup final with Larsen telling the media in Polokwane on Wednesday how familiar he is as coach with where the club is, comparing it to the 2012 Telkom Knockout Cup that his Bloemfontein Celtic side won without anybody giving them a chance.
The coach admits Dikwena Tṧa Meetse aren’t the best team in the league but will continue to give honest performances and hope for the best.
“Yeah, if you are in a cup competition, it’s all about dreaming,” Larsen answered an iDiski Times question.
“Like I said when I was at Celtic, nobody gave us a chance to beat Pirates then in the quarter-final and then we beat Free States Stars in the semi and then beat [Mamelodi] Sundowns in the final back then 2012.
“And I’m in a similar position now, where nobody gave us a chance from day one with Pirates. Let’s be honest, even you guys, nobody gave us a chance.
“So, we are where we are now, and I’m happy for the club and all we’re going to keep doing, I say this I sound like a scratched record, is go to every game and give an honest performance. We are a team that makes a lot of mistakes.
“We’re not the best team in the league and we know that, but we are going to fight tooth and nail in every game that we play. And sometimes, that’s enough to win football matches.”
