Kaizer Chiefs starlet Wandile Duba has highly praised new coach Nasreddine Nabi stating he is different from the other coaches in his winning mentality.
Duba made his Chiefs senior debut in December 2022 in a 2-0 win over Lamontville Golden Arrows under the leadership of Arthur Zwane but was in and out of the team as he couldn’t nail down a regular starting berth.
The 20-year-old scored his first senior goal in a 1-0 win over Arrows toward the end of last season under the mentorship of Cavin Johnson.

With the arrival of Nasreddine Nabi, there are high hopes from Amakhosi supporters that Duba will get regular game time as he is known to be a coach who believes in youngsters. Things came through exactly like that as the Tunisian has given Duba minutes alongside Mfundo Vilakazi and Mduduzi Shabalala.
Speaking with the media, Duba emphasized that Nabi wants hard-working players, and he doesn’t have an age limit, if you work hard, he will give you the chance regardless of age.
“Coach Nabi believes in players who work hard, not only youngsters,” he told the media.
“If you work hard, he will play you regardless of if you are young or old.
Having been coached by a few coaches before the arrival of Nabi, Duba stated that the Tunisian is different in the way that he wants to win every match that is being played and also, he demands players to push regardless of how they perform.
“Coach is very different from the other coaches because he wants wins only.
“He doesn’t want a player that will relax after scoring, he wants hard workers,” he added.
