‘Mshishi Is The Best I’ve Ever Played With’ jumanneomary333@gmail.com, October 24, 2024 Bafana Bafana and IFK Varnamo defensive midfielder Luke Le Roux has labelled national teammate Themba Zwane as the best player “I’ve ever played with”. ‘Mshishi’ has been a marvel to watch for both club and country with most players hailing his positive influence on them, both on and off the pitch. The 35-year-old Zwane earned his 50th Bafana cap in their 2025 AFCON Qualifier first leg clash 5-0 win against Congo Brazzaville and had a cameo partnership with Le Roux. Le Roux told iDiski Times senior writer Velile Mnyandu in edition 176 of the newspaper that Zwane is so good that the team plays to his strength which is to give him the ball and he’ll know what to do with it. “Look, I’ve played I think now four or five games with ‘Mshishi The Great’ as we call him,” Le Roux told iDiski Times. “And I can tell you honestly, he’s the best player I have played with in my career. I think that says a lot. Just the type of player he is, the way he moves on the field, the way he passes the ball, the way he moves, everything is just smooth, you know. “That’s true, he doesn’t lose the ball and he’s really good with the ball. He does what he needs to do and what he wants to do.” PSL News
