Mngqithi On Shalulile Breaking His Scoring ‘Curse’ jumanneomary333@gmail.com, October 24, 2024 Mamelodi Sundowns coach Manqoba Mngqithi says the responsibility to get Peter Shalulile back to top form is key to their season. Shalulile scored his first goal for club or country since May as Sundowns thrashed Golden Arrows 5-0 in the Carling Knockout on Saturday evening at Lucas Moripe Stadium. The relief and elation were evident from the Namibia international captain and his teammates as it was his first goal in nine games into the 2024/25 season. And the support he’s getting from the team in general has been very good. “I like the team that I have because I have a lot of very good boys, very sensible human beings who are compassionate, a lot of empathy, and also sympathising with Peter during these hard moments where he was not getting goals. So, it was exciting to see the reaction after he scored as well.” PSL News
